West Flores

West Flores encompasses from Labuan Bajo in the west and Ruteng in the east. These two areas used to be united as one regency called Manggarai but during 2003 it divides into two separate government administrations which is now called West Manggarai and Manggarai. Practically these two areas have the same language and almost similar in cultural behaviors. Although administratively separated people live in these areas still consider themselves as Manggarainese.
